End of the School Year

Sorry for the very late post! Summer took off in full swing and I haven’t had a minute to post with managing my littles.

My son’s teacher is a friend of mine. I taught with her over ten years ago and learned a lot from her. Well, after 42 years of teaching, she’s retiring this year. So I decided to make this quilt in her honor using some leftover fabric from my stash and some donated ‘teacher’ or ‘school’ themed fabric I received a few years ago. I’m pretty sure the ‘school’ themed fabric is from the 90’s. Hah! Check it out.

I will be creating a pattern of this for teachers and readers alike down the road. I’m still working on some of the details for some of the quilt blocks.
